Celebration of Music Day and The Big Sing 1st July 2021
The school was full of colour on Thursday 2nd July 2021 with the children dressed in their bright clothes for our Celebration of Music Day. As well as enjoying taking part in Norfolk County Council’s “The Big Sing” in the afternoon, each class took part in musical activities:
Class 1 made party hats, dressed up and danced in real bubbles.
Class 2 had a festival of singing and dancing, with some pupils writing their own songs.
Class 3 composed music and then notated it for their classmate to play. They also used different IT software to create music from images and shapes.
Class 4 composed their own England football song using a variety of instruments and played a Singer Stand Up Bingo game, as well as singing and dancing.
We also all enjoyed our “Feast on the Field” lunch outside on the artificial turf.
